Jay Vickers is entering his first year at The University of Arizona as the Assistant Athletics Director of Development. Before coming to Arizona, Vickers worked at California State University, Fresno for three years as their Assistant Athletics Director for Development, Major Gifts, where he was in charge of identifying, cultivating and soliciting major gifts and high end annual giving prospects for the Bulldog Foundation. Vickers has acquired more than nine years of professional experience within the areas of development, fundraising, sales, marketing, management and customer service.
Vickers graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Marketing and Computer Applications, while also a member of the Notre Dame football team.
Vickers currently resides in Tucson, AZ with his son, Jamaul, 14.
